Bis Industries has developed a Heritage Plan which ensures we respect and recognise the native title holders and comply with their native title. We can negotiate Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) and developmental opportunities for both Bis Industries and local Indigenous communities.

Once a strong relationship has grown and a clear understanding has developed in how Bis Industries and the Indigenous organisations can support each other, we negotiate Memoranda of Understanding (MOUs) with Indigenous organisations. A MOU strengthens our relationships with the Indigenous community and gives us appropriate access to community members and resources. Good examples are the MOUs we signed with the South West Aboriginal Land and Sea Council, the Ngarluma Yindjibarndi Foundation Limited and Esperance Bay Company.
